I attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale studying Music and Fine Arts, and I completed the Religious Education degree program from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I have three children. My oldest daughter, Cristin, is graduating UNC - Chapel Hill (Go Tarheels!). My son, Devor, attends Amana Academy in Alpharetta, and my youngest son, Drew, is in the special needs department at Alpharetta Elementary. I am an active member of North Point Community Church where I served for four years singing with the Worship Team and two years leading worship for UpStreet. I support the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta and the National Down Syndrome Congress as well as FOCUS (Families of Children Under Stress).
